SKSA Adult Softball


Thank you for visiting the SKSA Adult Softball site. We offer adult slow-pitch softball leagues for men's and coed teams. Leagues are played throughout the year and we occasionally host tournaments as well. 

 

All leagues consist of 6 weeks of double-headers for a total of 12 games per league. SKSA hosts leagues for C, D, and REC divisions. All play is sanctioned by USA Softball; USA Softball and SKSA park rules will be observed. League games are played Sunday through Friday each week with different levels playing on assigned days.
 
All SKSA Adult Softball games are played at Collins Park, which is located at 6727 Cypresswood Drive.

***C Division allows 3 Homeruns -- D Division allows 1 Homerun -- E Division allows No Homeruns -- All others are outs.**

  • Monday coed league IV begins September 14th-registration deadline is September 7th
  • Tuesday mens league IV begins September 1st-registration deadline is August 25th
  • Wednesdays are reserved for youth softball practices
  • Thursday mens league IV begins August 20th-registration deadline is August 13th
  • Friday mens/coed leagues III begins August 7th-registration deadline is July 31st
  • Sunday mens league III begins August 16th-registration deadline is August 9th


League start dates are subject to change due to weather and rainouts. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis..

Adult Softball League Pricing


Costs:


League Fees (6 weeks double headers) = $375.00 (4-week leagues = $250), plus:

·       USA Softball Sanction Fee = $35.00 (Paid Once Annually)

·       Forfeiture Fee = $40.00 (Paid Once Annually - Non-Refundable)

·       Total Fee Payable to SKSA = $ 450.00 + Umpires Fees (see below)

·       $100.00 deposit required at registration to reserve your spot (deposit does go toward league fees)

·       Deposits and payments will be accepted on a first come-first served basis

·       See below for applicable discounts under "Ways to Save"


Umpire Fees:

·       Umpire fees are not included in League Fees

·       Umpire fees are $20.00 (two umpires) or $15.00 (single umpire) per game

·       Cash payment due at the start of each game


Ways to Save/League Discounts

  • $50 OFF: Pay in full before the first night of play (not the day of league start).
  • $50 OFF: Church Teams (Must pay via Church check/card).
  • $25 OFF: Consecutive League Discount for Returning Teams.
  • $25 OFF: Company Sponsored Teams (Must Pay via Company check/card).


NOTES:


·       League fees are due in full the first night of the season - $25.00 Late Fee Per Week

·       If League fees are not paid in full by the 3rd week of play, they will be removed from schedule and no refunds given

·       Church/Sponsor Discounts do not apply if the league fees are not paid in full by the first night

·       $25.00 fee applied for all returned checks

·       SKSA accepts MasterCard, Discover and Visa only

·       Discounts pro-rated accordingly for 4-week leagues.



How to Register Your Team


League Registration deadlines are a week before league start and are taken in on a first-come, first-serve basis.


To secure your spot, a deposit or payment in full is required. Teams without a deposit will be placed on the waitlist.


Step 1. Complete the Online Registraton Form: Online Registration Form.


Step 2. Submit Payment by:

  • Credit Card: Fill out our Credit Card Form and email it to adult.softball@sksa.com.
  • Check: Payable to SKSA. Mail to: Debbie Gibson, 12606 Mutineer Lane, Tomball, TX 77377.
  • Cash or Check/In-Person: Drop off at the Collins Park concession stand during league hours. (Please note that the concession stand cannot accept credit cards for league payments.)


League Rules



League Regulations

  • Regulations: All play is governed by USA Softball
  • SKSA Adult Softball Park Rules:  SKSA Park Rules (strictly enforced).


Approved Balls

  • Men (Men’s & Coed): 12” balls (.52 Core / 300 Compression).
  • Women (Coed): 11” or 12” balls (.52 Core / 300 Compression).
  • Standard: Must be USA Softball/ASA approved with red stitching.
  • Compliant balls are available for purchase at the concession stand for $7.00 each.


Approved Bats

  • Allowed: All approved bats from USA Softball, ASA, NSA, and USSSA.
  • Prohibited: Any bat currently banned by any major association.
  • List: Banned Bats

LOOKING TO GET ON TEAM?


We only register teams. However, if you are looking to play or join a team, you can join our FaceBook group “Cypresswood Player Pool” (www.facebook.com/CypresswoodSoftball) and post on this page as this is where our teams post looking for players or players looking to play. Another way to get picked up on a team is to come out to the 6:15 pm games during the week or the 4:30 or 5:30 pm games on Sunday as there are usually a team or two short players and you can get picked up to play. Our schedules are posted above showing the leagues being played each night.
